FERC Order 890 Information |

On March 15, 2007 the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) published in the Federal Register a final rule reforming the 1996 open-access transmission regulatory framework rules in Orders No. 888 and 889. Called FERC Order No. 890, this final rule adopted by FERC on February 15, 2007 is designed to "prevent undue discrimination and preference in transmission service" (See FERC's Press Release)
